Beauty is not what we see
sun dappled leaves, green marbled seas
But intimacy between the rose and bee
Beauty is not symmetry
discordance in your tepid dreams
But where the soul finds harmony
the soft back row glow of equanimity
Beauty is not you nor I
golden curls, little white smiles
But the colors seen behind closed eyes
the heart pounding sprint towards stranger's cries
Beauty is not God's green earth
or we that wander, complacent mirth
But to see as those, seconds after birth
in peace lies the eyes of Beauty's worth
