It is impossible to completely get rid of dark circles. Changing your diet and sleeping patterns can help. But for a quick fix concealer is the best way to go. If you use it correctly with some tips, you will be amazed by the results.

First thing that you need to know is that you must make sure you have a good under eye moisturizer. I personally like to use Clinique's Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. That is a great base to start with. For those who still need a little extra boost, try Clinique's Repairwear for Eyes. It is fabulous. Once you have moisturized under your eyes you can apply your foundation. Always apply your foundation FIRST. This will maximize the use of your concealer. Once you have accomplished that you must use a good concealer. I like Cliniques' Line Smoothing. But whatever you have will work. Always try to buy a concealer that isn't matte. Matte concealers are what causes creasing under your eye.

Once you have chosen your concealer you will need a q-tip. Yes a Q-Tip. Dampen the end of the Q-Tip and gently roll the tip between your clean fingers forming a cone. Once you have done this put a bit of concealer on the Q-Tip. Then Apply the concealer under your eye with it. You want to use a little at a time. Take your ring finger and gently tap the concealer into your skin. Continue to add concealer as needed, using only a small amount at a time.

Once you get the hang of this you will be able to get rid of dark circles in a jiff. I have used this trick for years. After you finish applying your concealer tap a little of translucent powder under your eyes. This will set the concealer. You will be good to go for the rest of the day.
