Grand Theft Auto 4 could very well be the most anticipated of 2008, after being postponed. Niko comes to the USA because of his cousin claiming in emails to have sports cars two girls and a huge mansion, where as he way just getting him over to help get away from loan sharks that are after him among lots of criminal people.

Well first the game looks a bit unfinished the water and light looks off like it is only just being decoupled not resealed. But all the cars look great, and all have loads of radio stations. The graphics are pretty good other then the water and lights there is not much to say about them.

The story Well the story is the strongest aspect of the game; it would be good for a movie; or even a masterful book. There is drama, action, romances (With Romans girlfriend, friend at first) and a millions and one twists and turns to the story. Niko and almost every one he meets has an almost completely new personality by the end that changes slowly though out the story. Apart from you most people seem to come in and out of the story and you don't hear of them for a while until they are something big in the story again. Niko seems out of place as he is new to the USA that adds a nice touch to looking like it is normal to him but he does not like it way to the story. You find out very soon that niko does not want to be involved but is dragged in helping roman, with the only reason for coming being all of the lies roman emailed to him like lots of girls, fast sports cars and a huge mansion; even when you see his small flat he still goes on about 'we will be in the big time soon just you wait' and things like that where as it seems that you are doing all the work and roman just following you along for his selfish intent.

Game play Well for the game play the is hand to hand combat that is rarely used as the police have shotguns and once you can go to the gun shop why use a baseball bat? The shooting is good with taking cover a must; or sniper to help you friend out. Moving is smooth with the choice of walking jogging or running. The main forces is driving that takes a while to get use to but in the single player, but a must if you are going to complete that campaign.

Multiplayer

Well the multiplayer is good as you can pick what type of thing you want to do, or just hang out and kill your mates in the city, its nice but you have to move a long way to get weapons and nice places like the airport to do stunt jumps and have fun with helicopters, so it is let down a bit here but if worked on could turn out to be good.

To concluded its a very good game with not much against it apart from multiplayer that could become good over time, and one of the best stories on Xbox at the monument.
