Why your conscience is your own personal judge

Conscience is your moral lighthouse that helps you navigate life in the best possible moral and ethical way. It is your own intimate signal. What would you be without it? Probably nobody and you would certainly lack something. Where would you be without it? Stuck in some horrible and unavoidable life scenario.

It is your own personal judge in a way that it gives you a perspective on the things you have done. Deep down, in your thoughts, you are certainly having a conversation with your conscience if you have done something wrong or behaved badly.

Making a mistake, being wrong, hurting someone's feelings - these are all normal things that happen to all of us. However, it is important to be aware that this is your faux pas, so to speak. It does not mean that you are a bad person. Quite contrary, it shows that you are a human being who has done something wrong and admits doing it. Your conscience is showing you that. It does not have to be said loudly. You do not even have to admit it to anyone. It is essential to admit it to yourself. Be your own personal judge.

In a way we are lucky to have it in order to help us know where our life is heading. Your conscience is a part of your personality. It is a feature that describes you as a person. No person is complete without it. Conscience also enriches your own inner life. Random thoughts dwell in your mind and you decide what effect they are having on your life.

It is very crucial to have an healthy attitude to life and know the difference between right or wrong. We all know that, basically. It is also difficult to use it when you are in the middle of some delicate and complicated situation. When you have to decide about something will have an impact on your family, you certainly use your conscience. You are considering the pros and cons in order to make the best possible decision. While doing that, you are trying not to hurt your family or your partner. So, conscience plays a significant role.

A person will better become involved in a society if he or she has a conscience. Thus, the society approves of your moral qualities and praises you for your behaviour. A person with conscience is always considered to be a positive, good person. It is always connected with ethical and moral behaviour that we all want to achieve. At least, we should be trying. We cannot avoid making mistakes, but we can minimize the amount of them. Our conscience will help us in that department too. How? By being conscious about them and having them as your own personal signal.

Conscience is precious, but also very delicate. It is very demanding if you want to behave the best you can. Occasionally it can be trickym because you will also have some doubtful moments regarding the situation you are in. Maybe you will not know how to behave. Eventually, after some consideration, you will certainly know what to do. Deep down, the conscience is the best judge you can have.
