Sunlight touches
The bush covered hills.
Cotton wool clouds sit
Like cosy hats on the skyline.
The white aprons of the pigeons

calling their greetings.
The rustle
of leaves waving.
Fantails flit
from branch to branch.
A tui
claims the Kowhai tree,
as he sips the sweet nectar.
Ah! The peace.
