Thousands of years ago healers were using apple cider vinegar for many of people's aches and pains. Modern research has shown that apple vinegar is still a wonderful cure for many health problems and more. Since the earliest times, a daily vinegar cocktail was used to help control appetite and continue good health. From the Bible to Cleopatra to the fierce Samurai warrior of Japan, vinegar has been documented as a powerful tonic to ensure strength, power and long life.

Even China's health system which is thousands of years old has recognized vinegar for its health value, and has included it among its proven natural remedies.

Today's research studies and scientific reports continue to praise the healing powers of vinegar to maintain good health and well being.

In the past, a daily dose of an apple cider vinegar and honey tonic was used to ease arthritis. However, during the past 30 years or so, many drugs have replaced homemade remedies. But today, more than ever, we are becoming aware of drugs and their side effects, and as time goes on people are again looking for more natural help for their aches and pains. For this reason natural remedies such as apple vinegar are making a comeback and are studied even more fully by health professionals.

It has been found that vinegar is a powerful antiseptic that kills even dangerous bacteria such as in Strep and Staph infections. Vinegar is a germ killing acid and an assortment of vitamins and nutrients.

Apple vinegar cocktails have been known to help relieve many different health related issues such as:

Upset stomach

Leg cramps

Sprained muscles

Appetite

Cough

Nausea

Arthritis

Hiccups

Sunburns

Memory

Colds

Infections

Spots and blemishes

Digestion and more

Yes, apple cider vinegar is more than a food or a taste teaser for your dishes and salads. It has healing powers for the many common human discomforts, aches and pains.

One of the well known benefits of vinegar is that it is an excellent disinfectant. Use it to wash your vegetables, especially when you eat them raw, and you will make sure that all bacteria will be gone.

The Yale-New Haven hospital uses apple vinegar as a disinfectant. When after-surgery eye infections became a problem, their department of Bacteriology solved the problem with vinegar. Some doctors suggest that regular use of apple vinegar may prevent food poisoning.

Yes, indeed vinegar is a great helper to our health and well being.
