HURRICANE FURY
I watch you silently as your days drift by,
At ease and complacent with life.
You complain about all sorts of things as you go,
I will show you the meaning of strife.
Those trees you so lovingly planted years ago,
With thoughts of your family in mind.
I will strip every leaf, every twig, every limb,
I will leave nothing of your garden behind.
That car that sits all shiny in your drive,
That you proudly put on display.
I'll drop a tree across its hood,
And then just blow it away.
And now, your house that you built up from the ground,
Your family, your wealth, your possessions.
These are all mine to rip apart,
To no one do I offer concessions.
