Iceland is an excellent travel destination. Known for their geothermal power and excellent recreational climbing opportunities, you and the fam are sure to love all that Iceland has to offer.

One of the most popular tourist destinations is the Blue Lagoon, located on the road between Keflavik airport and Reykjavik. The geothermal hot springs provide a soothing and healthy treat complete with a waterfall, natural spas and saunas, and cleansing mud baths.

Thingvellir National Park is home to some spectacular scenery near Reykjavik, as well as being the only location where the Atlantic ridge rises above the ocean's surface. The region is historically significant because the Vikings gathered there to form new laws and debate important issues as early as 1000 years ago.

The Golden Falls at Geysir provide another spectacular and picturesque site for travelers to Iceland. The falls are an impressive double waterfall filled with silt from the glaciers, named Golden Falls for the rainbows visible when the sun is shining and correctly positioned through the spray.

Iceland is a must-see tourist destination for any adventurous traveler who longs for a change of pace and rare scenic beauty!
