More than likely you do not wake up in the morning looking forward to the daunting task of taking care of your accounts. Whether you are a small entrepreneur or a large corporate CEO, this introduction to QuickBooks will convince you exactly why the QuickBooks software is for you. In this article I will introduce QuickBooks and show how it is a user friendly and powerful tool which will expedite the process of managing your accounting books.
The Goodies that QuickBooks brings:
One of the best things about QuickBooks is that it handles all the areas of a business. From telling how much to pay your employees to remind when to collect bills to tracking your stock, QuickBooks is a comprehensive software that does it all. Not only that but with a click of a button you can find the profit earned for the day, for the week, or for the year.
There are also little things in this software which add up make so powerful. Obviously I cannot explain all of them here as this is only an introduction to QuickBooks and not a tutorial. But for example, you only have to make one entry on a ledger, and it debits and credits all of the entries by itself and presents you the final balances within a second.
If you are an accountant, and are reading up on the introduction to QuickBooks, you should know that I personally know Chartered Personal Accountants in the Texas who use you QuickBooks for their clients. After introducing yourself to QuickBooks, you can easily look up for tutorials online (or even the one that is included in the software) and efficiently do your professional job.
How to reap the goodies that QuickBooks brings:
Teaching you how to use QuickBooks is not the purpose of this article, as this is only an introduction to QuickBooks. However, even in this introduction to QuickBooks I am willing to go through exactly where you can learn QuickBooks.
Before starting to learn QuickBooks, make sure that you know that it is very simple to learn. The purpose of this introduction to QuickBooks is not to scare you away, but to encourage you to use this simple and powerful software.
If you own QuickBooks, the first thing I would prefer is the video tutorial within the software. Not only do they cover every aspect of QuickBooks I can think of, but these videos also give an opportunity for practical learning.
There are videos on YouTube as well that teach you the courses, as well as other virtual training program. One of my favorite is TeachUComp, which is relatively low priced and really comprehensive. Still, if you are training on the computer, then this introduction to QuickBooks article will suggest that you use the tutorials in the software itself. However, if you are one of those people who cannot stand Virtual training, then do look for something locally.
I gave you as much of inclusive introduction to QuickBooks as I could. Hopefully, by reading this introduction to QuickBooks, you are convinced to not only invest in QuickBooks, but to become trained in it and utilize it properly.
