Poetry: Prayers for lost children

by Melissa Woody

Created on: July 15, 2009

Dear lord what can I do, the lost sweet children I pray for two.

I say it Lord with your sweet grace to hold those children with great embrace, I know you will hold tight to them, for they are your sweet children.

I pray that they will soon return to parents arms who long and yearn to see those children once again and share the pain with there true friends.

I pray for you to guide there way and show them comfort were ever they may lay. I know my God that you hurt to for some one took them without truth.

There innocence that was once there was erased through thoughtless care, and all the world could take one step to pray for them without regret.

I pray, I pray for all to see the children deserve just what they need. The love of all and guidance abundant and with no one they see could ever shone them.

Dear lord Jesus please take great care of the child whose lost and scared. Look after them and guide there soul from that Devils deceitful hold. I say this prayer with all faith that my Lord will keep them safe. Amen! Amen!
