The current standing of the United States of America, is due to the neglect of responsibility by it's executive powers. It appears that the Executive branch of America believes that to appease it's citizens all that it has to do is throw them some scraps in the form of some ridiculous stimulus.

The American President is supposed to be a president holding accountable the actions of his government. Yet, in America today the president spends most of his time traveling like a rock star, and rubbing shoulders with the big boys. All the while abandoning the majority of his duties to America, to over see that our legislators are behaving with the best interest of the American People, and not standing around patting each other on the back for the disaster they have created for the future of America, while getting their pockets lined by lobbyists.

I do understand all too well the distraction foreign nations can be for any president, and I think that is their point. There has yet to be one president who has told the foreign countries to wait in line because his own country is in need of his guidance and oversight.

I also understand the importance of foreign relations, but I was taught in school that America has ambassadors for just such tasks, and those ambassadors were put in place to assure that the president can concentrate on the duties, and responsibilities of guiding a nation through a very bad, and getting worse time.

This is not meant as a personal criticism of President Obama, but as I observe the beginning of his term in office, I see his attentions being drawn away from the country that he is responsible for, and being misdirected, and it has only taken seven months to get him off track.

I listened to the health care debates, and hearings that took place and I assure you that the cost of insurance and medical services will not become less expensive, or easier for Americans to get, the government has just created it's own private insurance company providing very little competition to their competitors.

President Obama should have been present for these hearings, and declared that he would veto any bill that did not lower the cost, and readily make more available health care, as he promised.

Instead, he was out of the country greeting, and meeting with other heads of states that like him, are not watching over their governments, but instead are just allowing them to all run amuck.

Like, for instance the global warming profiteering that has been in pursuit
