Have you ever wanted to succeed in life? Well, this is your chance to do so. Over the next couple of paragraphs, I wish to enlighten you on the techniques that I have used to succeed and stay happy in my life.

Before I get started on the techniques that I have used, I would request you to make a commitment to yourself. Because no matter what I tell you, there is only one person that could change you and that is you. You are the most important person on this earth.

Have you ever wondered why there are only a small percentage of millionaires in this world? Have you ever wondered what successful people have that you don't? There is no reason as to why you should not be able to achieve your dreams. There is no reason as to why you should not be able to get your hands on the things that you most want in life. All you need to do to achieve this is to have a plan, discipline yourself, be committed and then take the action to walk the path to success.

Plan:

Why does one need a map to get to a new destination? Why do companies prepare project plans to launch their products? The answer is pretty obvious. It is used to ensure that you have a pathway mapped out in order to reach the milestones that one has set. Before you start to plan, there are a couple of things that you need to do. Ask of yourself, what is it that you really want in your life, then list out the top five things that you most want in order of priority. Prepare a plan for each of these items and then post it somewhere where it could be viewed every day so that you do not lose focus.

Discipline:

The second and most important step is to discipline yourself. This is where you adopt a particular behavior that you never had before. This is where you get rid of bad habits. This is where you deny yourself things that you love so that you could move closer to that dream. Reward yourself every time you do something that you hate. And by doing things that you hate over and over again, over a period of time this will become second nature to you.

Commitment and Action:

Lastly but not least is commitment and Action. Having a plan put together but taking no action to achieve it, is like a builder having a blueprint and then doing nothing to build that building. The most important factor that will lead to your success is commitment and it is this commitment to yourself that will lead you to take action.

The road is not going to be easy and there will be times when the glamour of success will wear off, this is your true test to hold the line against compromising your commitments. I'm confident that if you stay true to yourself, work hard at it and pursue your plans with a passion then nothing is going to crop up in front of you that you cannot overcome. Bring about the change that you so rightly deserve!
