I held my little boy today
and looked him in the eyes;
I noticed how he's changing so
and leaps from size to size.
His little conversations are more detailed than before;
The many questions that he has I pray I won't ignore.
Tomorrow isn't very far...
yet I know in a day;
He's growing more and more until he's
grown and moved away.
So just for now I'll hold him;
and love him my dear son.
And thank the Lord for trusting us with such a precious one.
