Sex on television is certainly here to stay but is it too much or not? Well let's think about it for awhile first. On some shows sex is only hinted at or blacked out or even left to the imagination. On the other hand some shows go all the way. They show couples starting out with the romantic stuff, then all of the sudden they are in the bedroom having sex. Looks like the camera man forgot to give them some privacy.

If you are against sex on television I suppose you do think there is too much of it being shown. Of course if you're against it then any sex on television shows would be too much. I can sympathize with this group of people as well. I can see where someone may be offended by seeing two or more people engaged in the act of love making or sexual situations. One argument to fix this problem is to just change the channel or stop watching the movie.

I completely agree that when sexual acts are being displayed on television the children should not be present for the viewing of such material. These things are more appropriately learned from parents and schools. So no sexual content for the young ones agreed upon, all the way.

Some people however enjoy watching others having sex, so it has been thrust onto our television sets for all to view. If you like viewing such material then I guess it is alright to watch these type of shows. For your pleasures they provide fulfillment sometimes. You also have the choices of pay channels or renting videos as well.

I feel that since the debate is so strongly argued over by both parties that sex will be an everlasting trend. Sex in episodes like soap operas have been a part of our culture for quit awhile. Some shows are more risky than others with the amount of body exposure they reveal but if it doesn't show too much skin or body parts would this be acceptable to those of you that are against the subject matter? Or is even the mentioning of sex too much for television? These questions also will be lingered over forever. By critics and viewers alike.

The young adult themes can sometimes go to far for their viewing audiences some would say. On the other hand what is too much for even the teen scene? Don't they already know about sex by now through school and other means? Well I guess this would be left up to the parents of each individual child. With the knowledge most kids today probably know that sex on TV is just that and not something they should just go out and do with each other to imitate the shows.
