Are you planning a trip to Ohio and not sure what to do or see? Ohio is full of some great attractions and destinations for you and your family to visit. Here is a list of some of the best attractions to see while visiting Ohio:

*The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame

You cannot visit Ohio without stopping at the world famous Rock And Roll Hall of Fame. The museum is located on the shores of Lake Erie in downtown Cleveland. The museum is open 363 days a year, every day from 10 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Closed on Christmas and Thanksgiving. On Wednesdays, you can tour the Museum until 9 p.m. General admission for adults is $22. Children 9-12 $13 and Senior admission (65+) is $17. Some of the featured collections at the museum are Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, Janis Joplin and The Who.

*Cedar Point Amusement Park

The kids will definitely want to stop here. It is hailed as the roller coaster capital of the world! Some of the roller coasters include the Magnum XL-200, Corkscrew and the Cedar Creek Mine Ride. There are water rides, and thrill rides too. Located just outside the gates of the park are parasailing and jet skis. General admission to the park for ages 3-61 is $44. The Junior/Senior ticket (under 3 and over 62) is $19.99. Park hours vary during the season so it's best to call ahead for current schedule.

*Lake Erie

Lake Erie is the fourth largest lake of the five Great Lakes in North America. Besides boating and fishing at the lake there are some attractions in the area that are worth checking out. Some of those include the African Safari and Wildlife Park, Firelands Museum (famous for its outstanding display of antique guns), Great Lakes Popcorn Company, and Perry's Cave ( there are gemstone mining tours in a limestone cave).

*Amish County

This is another must see for anyone taking a trip to Ohio. Berlin Ohio is home to the world's largest Amish/Mennonite community. There are many great places to shop and eat in the area. You can learn all about Amish heritage at the Amish and Mennonite Heritage Center. There is also the Biblewalk a life size wax museum. It contains over 70 scenes and 300 different characters. The best place to visit is the Schrock Amish Farm and Village. You can take a Amish buggy ride and tour a real Amish home. There is also an antique and shopping mall. There is something for everyone here in Amish County!

Ohio is just too much fun for one day or one vacation for that matter. This is one destination that you will definitely want to visit again and again.
