Spin bowling is very important in Cricket. Spin bowlers can take a lot of wickets and also lower the run rate of the match. They can also bowl their whole quota of over since their run up is usually shorter. Like all sports, cricket also has the very best players. In this case, the best spin bowlers.

The best spin bowlers have taken a lot of wickets, have helped their team win matches, can fool the batsman with their spin, can change the pace of their delivery when required. Here are the best spin bowlers that I have ever seen in Cricket.

Shane Warne- If you follow cricket, then you had to expect this name to be in this list. He is one of the greatest leg spin bowler. He has the records to prove that he is one of the best. His ability to fool the batsman with his change of spin was amazing. I have seen every batsman struggle against him at some point in the match. With an amazing ability to spin the bowl in both directions and bowl at a consistently good pace, Shane Warne is clearly one of the best spin bowlers in Cricket.

Muttiah Muralitharan- If you are talking about world records, then this guy has them. If you are talking about the ability to spin, then this guy has it. If you are talking about the best spin bowler ever in the history of cricket, then this guy is one! With the highest number of wickets in test cricket and one-day internationals, this list would be incomplete without him. His bowling was always consistent and his number of wickets proves this. In my opinion, he is the greatest spin bowler in the cricket.

Anil Kumble- this man has won so many matches for India in his career. One of the most notable victories, when he retired all ten batsmen in one test inning! He was the only bowler who took all ten wickets. He has an amazing bowling line and is always consistent with his line. The authorities have never questioned his bowling action and he is one of the only three bowlers in cricket to take over 600 wickets. Do I need to give any more reasons?

Daniel Vettori- this guy doesn't have the records to prove that he is one of the best, but he is one of my personal favourites. He is one of the best all rounder in cricket. A great batsman, captain and a spin bowler. He is one of the best-left arm spin bowlers in cricket, not behind too many bowlers. He has been very useful against Indian and Australian Batsmen. A very good spin bowler that is my personal favourite.

In my opinion, these are the best spin bowlers in Cricket!
