Okay so we all have that one special dish that we have created so many times that it has evolved into somewhat of a masterpiece when it is presented at the dining room table. The family requests it on a regular basis and it is the dish that is always a hit at potlucks. This is the recipe that we have babied, and refined time and again, till like a fine piece of artwork the finished product basks in the glow of absolute perfection. We all have at least one of these recipes and most of us have a treasured hand written cookbook that holds within a wealth of these favorite recipes.These are the very recipes that friends, and relatives ask for, and that we diligently copy out for them from our own well worn copies.
Over time the pages that we have written our recipes on become smudged from the little drips, drops and splatters that naturally occur within the kitchen.
