The beautiful game
Oh the beautiful game,
The ball we kick, carries so much..
So much joy and devastation,
Can be captured with just a touch,
Or the refs negotiation..
Oh the beautiful game,
You make me feel so good,
when the ball goes across that line,
I didn't think it could
I seem mad but no, I'm fine..
I'm more than fine I'm happy,
And my soul is shining bright..
As we walk back home, in the moonlight.
Oh the beautiful game,
But sometimes you are not beautiful,
We arrive and our souls our bright,
but at the end they are oh so dull..
No, you are not so beautiful
This is my first poem I've ever done out of school so please bear with me.
Thank you for your time.
