Persephone, at long last, is back with her mother
When Spring starts by giving the world its birth
From tiny seeds sown when placed in the earth.
Demeter is grateful for the small amount of time
When Summer comes in like a lion, out like a lamb"
How calmly and so easily she encourages the land.
Zeus made the way for his daughter to come home
Counting the number of pomegranate seeds taken
Sadness would Fall because three seeds she had eaten.
Hades couldn't live with out her he made that clear
The months his wife spent in the underwold was Winter
This mythology explains the four seasons every year.
