You walked right into the trap and got caught

We tried to warn you, telling you about the signs

But you refused to take advise, and now you're learning the hard way.

The hard way is not the best way

But it seems to be the best way for you.

You wanted to do it your way,

Each and every day.

You wanted to play the fool.

The hard way has brought you to think about the warnings you heard

You thought we were just trying to stop you in your downward spiral to earth.

But you have come down off your cloud and hit the dust pounding as you dropped.

Yes, it's the hard way.

Learn from this day, that our free advice was well thought out.

We'd lived it, we'd seen it, we just knew the end results.

But you, you had to have the hard way

We are thanking God you are alive to make another move

Using the easy way- just take a little advice and avoid the pits and falls.

That's all. Then you won't have to call us to pick you up out of the holes.
