Is it possible to live a life without sin

by Tamitha Robinson

Created on: July 12, 2009

Could you fathom living a life without sin? I couldn't. How would it be to love everybody unconditionally everyday and have no bad thoughts and everything be perfect? It would be great, only if I could fathom it. So, to live without sin is impossible. It would be kind of hard to even imagine it, especially since the world we live in today is filled with sin.

Thanks to Adam and Eve we will not be able to experience that until the 2nd coming and if are a chosen one to go back home is when we will experience a life without sin, which will be a perfect life. Ever since Eve ate from the tree of knowledge she died in spirit and sin was born. God commanded, "Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." (Gen. 2:16-17 KJV). Therefore Eve had died spiritually making the link that held the life without sin into a broken link making sin enter into this world. As this world continues to carry on the more sin that is being impacted into our lives.

A lot of people believe that once they are saved then they are fine and if they don't commit any "sin" then they are fine. Well, this is where people are being deceived by themselves. Reason being is because they are categorizing sin. When people think of sin, they automatically thing of lying, stealing, cheating, sex, pre-marital sex. Yes, that is sin but if we look a little deeper into sin on a true foundation then there is no categorizing sin. Sin is sin, no matter what. So, to live a perfect life without sinning is impossible because rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft. Are we seeing this? Rebellion! Very key element in sin. Rebellion is the refusal of obedience! The refusal of obedience. Do you see where that is a sin? "For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, he hath also rejected thee from being king." (1 Samuel 15:22 KJV). So as you read that rebellion is witchcraft you can understand that not obeying your father is a sin. Just like when you ask your child to do something and they say, "NO" they are what? Rebelling and not listening to you, therefore they are sinning against you as a parent of authority figure. That is the same exact thing we do with God our father. You may ask why witchcraft? Well if we look closely what witchcraft is at the root,
