Someone's Angel
I'm someone's angel,
Even if I'm not yours.
There are walls I have to climb,
Beyond these closed doors.
I'm someone's angel,
I hear it all the time.
I long to hear these words,
They are very kind.
In someone's world,
I have wings.
And to them,
I'm their everything.
In someone's life,
I am their light.
They yearn to have me,
And hold me tight.
In someone's dream,
I live quite well.
Don't ask,
Because I'll never tell.
In someone's pain,
I am there.
Because I'm here,
And it's not fair.
In someone's tears,
My name is called.
I try to comfort,
But it falls apart.
In someone's heart,
I'll always be.
Nothing will change,
How they feel for me.
