Remember
Remember when we met,
And everything was so new?
I knew at first glace,
That I loved you.
I never thought,
I could be so consumed.
With love for someone,
Such as you.
You changed what I was looking for,
And rearranged my plans.
But I didn't care,
As long as I had your hand.
Remember when I'd come over,
And you'd hold me in your arms?
There was nothing in the world,
That could tear us apart.
We'd lay there in the silence,
In a peaceful bliss.
Oh how I loved,
The taste of your lips.
I loved your laugh,
When I'd tickle you.
I knew your spot,
And what to do.
Remember when I realized,
Things just weren't the same.
I could tell by your eyes,
You were acting so strange.
You held my heart in your hands,
It bled into your soul.
The love you didn't return,
Finally took it's toll.
Please don't go on without me,
Don't leave me behind.
In my heart there's a piece of you,
And it will always be mine.
Remember, if I could turn back,
The many hands of time.
I'd return to the moment,
When you were still mine.

Let us not forget the day,
when hope, dreams and lives were torn away.
Where bravery overcame fear,
to the ones we love
Please remember that I love you
the old man said to his wife
As he watched her slowly fade
and take her exit from this
A Thousand Leaves.
A thousand leaves blew through the town
The brass band played its rousing sound
The Reserve
Please remember the 'others' too,
Those unbeknown to most,
The ones still standing on guard
In their homelands;
Remember
Remember when we met,
And everything was so new?
I knew at first glace,
That I loved you.
