When we are born into this life, we are entering into a challenging learning experience. While on the Other Side (Spirit Realm, Heaven, whathaveyou ... ) we plan out our lives. We decide what lessons we would like to learn and what we would like to experience while here on Earth. We plan this out with a lot of detail. Counsel is received from elders and that which we have planned is scrutinized and edited. Once we are conceived though, we do not have access to this plan. That would make it to easy. If we knew that we had an abusive partner so we could learn to stand up for ourselves and leave them, we would not learn that, we would just know it. Information from the Other Side and from our Charts (the plan that we made for this life) is no longer available to us. We cannot see that which we once could. That is why we have Spirit Guides.

Your Spirit Guide is an entity of the Spirit World. They are souls just as we are, who have had at least one life on Earth, who are dedicated to us in this life. Their purpose is to look out for you, to help you stay on your path and to help you gain the knowledge and experience that you planned into your chart. They can communicate with you by telepathic communication, they can be audibly heard if you are clairaudant, or they can communicate with you by showing you things in this world, such as popping an idea into your head or inspiring you to do something. For example, if you were in a sticky situation and did not know what to do, your Spirit Guide could plant an idea into your mind. Perhaps an idea that you did not think of, or a solution that you did not realise was available.

They also work on your behalf on the Other Side as well. If you planned something into your life that is too much for you to handle, your Guide can petition the Elders on the Other Side to change your chart. Your Guide can tell a lot of things, but cannot listen to your prayers unless you let them. Your prayers are private conversations between you and your Creator. If you'd like you can allow your Guide to listen to a prayer, or give them permission to listen to all of your prayers. I have given my Guide permission to listen to my prayers because often she is able to add insight to a situation that I am praying about. This is a personal decision though that will be based on your own preferences.

I can remember communicating with my Guide since I was a young girl. She was an imaginary friend when I was small. Now I `hear` her voice, not audibly,
