Poetry: Again

by Sara Daw

Created on: July 11, 2009

Again I must tell you, why must it be so?

Again I must show you, as both of us know,

Again I must spell out what should be so clear,

Again I must wipe away first hint of tear,

Again I am lonely when sat in a crowd,

Again I am screaming with silence so loud,

Again I must face you and try to be strong,

Again I must smile, pretend nothing is wrong,

Again I will waken full of false hope,

Again I walk onward, trying to cope,

I know it is over, that all this must end,

Again is now futile,my heart will not mend.
