Another year has come and gone,
The time so quickly passes;
The house will soon be full of song,
Party hats and full punch glasses.
Candles will glow on a gilded cake,
Gifts and cards will fill the table;
Laughter will ring and a wish to make,
All will come if they are able.
The birthday girl will scream and smile,
The music louder still;
All is right in life for a little while,
For a day time stands still.
So a wish goes out for a day of fun,
Revel in all the senses;
Happy Birthday sweet little one,
Today you are a princess.
