Poetry: Silence

by Beatrice Okorie

Created on: July 11, 2009

Will the world ever be a silent place?

Will nature just fade away?

Does man even care what happens day to day?

Not when there is silence

Will the plants ever disappear?

Will the animals lose their fear?

Can the earth survive another war?

Not when there is silence

Will the computers warn us of danger?

Will we have to trust all strangers?

Should our lives end peacefully?

Not when there is silence
