Looking and feeling good is important for most women and the beauty regime includes the whole body, from top to toe.
Hair Care
A good haircut is very important and is worth the investment of consulting a good hair stylist. The stylist will cut your hair to suit your face shape and take your lifestyle into consideration. Once you have the hairstyle that suits you it is important to maintain it. A trim every six week's along with the use of a good quality shampoo and conditioner are recommended.
When using conditioner use a wide toothed comb, comb the conditioner through the hair starting with the ends first and gradually working your way towards the scalp. Most conditioners are absorbed by the hair in between three and five minutes so it is not necessary to leave it on longer. In between shampoo and conditioning a hair treatment can be used. Treatments are especially useful if your hair is damaged or dry and will keep your locks shiny and healthy.
When blow drying your hair use a styling aid, not only will it help to hold your style gently, but it will protect your hair from the heat of the hairdryer.
Skin Care
Keeping a healthy glow to your face requires a little maintenance but should not take up too much of your time if done on a daily basis. Know your skin type and use beauty products to suit. Start off your day by cleansing, toning and moisturising. If your moisturiser does not contain a sunscreen, apply sunscreen too. Apply toner and moisturiser. Always let the moisturiser soak in before applying your make-up. Remember what you apply to your face should be applied to the front and back of your neck too. We don't want our necks to look like a chickens neck when we are older. Keep your eyebrows neatly shaped and pluck away any stray hairs. Extra products you will need are an eye and lip cream to prevent the fine lines from developing around your eyes and lips, lip balm, an exfoliater and facial mask. Exfoliate your face and neck two to three times a week to remove dead cells and skin. If you are sceptical about using an exfoliater, take a look at a mans complexion. Men unwittingly exfoliate daily when shaving, giving them a more youthful looking skin. Relax with a facial mask two or three times per week. The evening ritual is basically the same as the morning replacing the daily moisturiser with a night cream. It is important to do this because while we sleep our skin renews itself.
Body Care
Our body needs just as much care as our faces. Don't have
