Poetry: Woodlands

Woodstock Revisited

Forty years ago

Seems like yesterday

Deja Vu

Crosby sang it in harmony

Joni sang the anthem

Garden of Eden

Walden Woods

Attracted to Nature

Drawn magnetically to that pasture

Humans crave Wilderness

Wildness

Memorabilia from which

adorn bookstores

on a separate table

sterilized memories

from a wild event

wilder than you could imagine

wilder than a shopping mall

three days of sensory overload

sights sounds rain mud

woodlands trampled

the aftermath of joy
