Forty years ago
Seems like yesterday
Crosby sang it in harmony
Joni sang the anthem
Garden of Eden
Walden Woods
Attracted to Nature
Drawn magnetically to that pasture
Humans crave Wilderness
Wildness
Memorabilia from which
adorn bookstores
on a separate table
sterilized memories
from a wild event
wilder than you could imagine
wilder than a shopping mall
three days of sensory overload
sights sounds rain mud
woodlands trampled
the aftermath of joy
