The first light of morning strikes a chord,
Nature's maestro raises her wand;
An orchestral melody crosses the fjord,
Filling the meadow, lilting across a pond.
"Tis the sound of nature singing,
A symphony sweet and pure;
A million carellons rhythmically ringing,
Both euphoric and demure.
The players are all of nature's things,
The trees, the birds, the wind;
A storm cloud rumbles, the tide it sings,
A peaceful song is what they send.
It's a melody that our souls for long,
An opera that our heart is missin';
It's there for us, this nature song,
All we must do is...listen.
