Pisces Gardening and Food

Pisces completes the winter. Spring is just around the corner, so a sense of change is inherent in this sign.

Pisces Gardening

Pisces wants any food they consume to be organic so chemicals will not be found near the garden.

Cucumbers, melons, summer and winter squash appeal to the watery nature. A careful gardener, Pisces will spend hours keeping insects and pests from garden plants rather than use agricultural methods. Vegetables and spices especially favored are varieties that go well with fish, since they are a big fan of seafood.

Pisceans usually possess a sense of creativity, so look for graceful plants such as lupines and poppies to be scattered around the yard. Grasses that gracefully flow with the wind are special favorites. Evergreens with unique shapes and topiaries will line walkways and paths along which can be found statues and birdbaths in the yard.

Pisces Food

Many Pisces love to cook, and hearty chicken or fish soups are always simmering on the stove or in the slow cooker. Gazpacho and vichyssoise are perennial favorites. Naturally a big fan of seafood, whether it is standard salmon, tuna or exotic octopus, the Fish will devour it. Special spices include cloves, mint, nutmeg and vanilla. A typical meal might include pea soup, marinated kipper salad with new potatoes spiced with apple and fennel, lemon sole with vermouth sauce, potato salad as a side dish and chocolate stuffed peaches for dessert.

Pisces Personality

Mysterious and alluring, most Pisces are extremely talented. Even though they are gifted in many ways, they still manage to spend most of their lives battling confusing conditions. The very sign symbolized by an image of two fish, one heading upward and the other pulling downward, mirrors how Pisceans are frequently torn between two pathways in life, or actually do live two very different existences at the same time.

This zodiac sign is acknowledged as being the Saint and the Sinner rolled into one, the trendsetter of fashion or art, the lost soul and the visionary, the philosopher and the psychotic. As a credit to them, they are incredibly adaptable and resilient. They are to be found leading the field in many diverse areas of life and many Pisces are represented among top business millionaires. On the other side of the coin, prisons, reform schools and all kinds of institutions statistically hold a high number of Pisceans.

Of all the zodiac signs, Pisces are the ones who must endure the most trouble during their lives. They fantasize about people and situations. They tend to see life as they want to see it rather than reality, coloring their world far removed from its true reflection. As a Pisces, be warned that your emotions are a weak spot.

One thing that plays havoc is romance. When things are going well, you are on cloud nine. When romance turns sour, you land in a heap. Pisces often need to take many breaks from life to recover from diverse pressures. Being the zodiac's most sensitive sign, extra special care of yourself should be taken. In the purest form you are psychic, visionary and a guiding light to all who know you, but in the out of tune state, you become depressed, obsessive and confused.
