I see the faces,
Each with a pose,
Leaving the place
That houses the ill,
A place for the dying
They poise themselves-
Some smiling, some crying.
In empty passages,
Some lost souls remain,
Alone, I see them still
Yet, no one came.
A small slice of spirit
Left in the passageways
Of their lives.
I stand here,
I see them all
In baron reality they shine;
Yet, the spirit that calls me,
Is mine.

From Hospital Hill, the city lay dumb,
Dawn impregnated, wreathed in mist.
“Choose Life! ”its copper-clad
Your sanity isn't welcomed.
Your heart will be sold.
You'll be overcome, and you will mold like clay.
You're secrets will
