... to be free

... to be heard
D dancing...
...in the twilight
O obviously
....joyful ....gleeful..... escalating

No one ever noticed
that I got tired of living.
They just kept on taking,
even after I stopped giving.
They kept on talking,
convincing
Over the years, bit by bit,
I gave myself away,
awoke one morning,
to find that I
no longer knew
exactly where I fit.
