I believe that down through the ages the life of Jesus would have been repeated and known to Christians world wide. If God intended for Jesus to be known then He would have made it possible even 2,000 years later. The Bible was written by some scholars, but also by men of no education, because God breathed the truth into them. The Bible is a direct work of God, our God, as we know Him. All powerful, all knowing, all good.

Some people say fear God, I believe we should fear the sins we have done that have hurt God but I do not think God wants us to fear Him, fear death without the knowledge of God, but do not fear God. In Isaiah 41:13 God says to us, "I, the Lord your God, holding your right hand will say to you, fear not for I will help you." That does not sound fearsome to me. And if the Bible were not written then other ways of knowing God would have been given to us because God is all powerful, sometimes we forget that God can and does do unimaginable things for us, we forget how powerful He is because we take Him for granted. We believe but we do not see the every day miracles He does for us, we breathe air because it is God's Will, we live because it is God's Will.

No, this earth did not just 'happen' it is no accident that we have in our possession, for a short while, this glorious creation of God's, we look out into a garden full of flowers of all kinds, we see their extraordinary beauty and how dare we think of this as accidental? This world is God's creation just as we are God's creation and at His command, it can all be swept away instantly. The Bible is a Holy Book, it tells us how and why God created us and the world, it tells us how and why Jesus came to us to save our immortal lives, but still, if God had chosen another way to make Himself known, we would still be given the knowledge we have, and remember that God has not told us everything there is to know, His mysteries may not ever be known, or He may choose to tell us when and if we reach His Kingdom.

We should pray to the God we know is our salvation and creator, the Great "I Am" for it is He that does for us what we ourselves can not do. He has the power to destroy mountains into piles of dust so remember the next time you feel weak or stricken with grief, or struck down by some other power on earth to ask God into your heart; soul; mind and body. Truly invite Him in and He will lift you up until there is no more fear in you.
