a student of change
my mind rejects the dichotomous
complexities which roll off my tongue, and
my thoughts betray me
every waking moment spent
making sense of my personal pantomimes while
grand movies project in my skull and
my imaginations are deemed useless.
intuition fails me sending
my femininity whispering in desperation as
kinetic floods slam through the door and
my confusion drifts into the night
making love with another illusion
offering peace in the dark.

I can’t find my way
An unbeaten path
My journey did stray
The road grim and narrow
An endless abyss

Tried to fight back all the shadows that churned
I stumbled and faltered and
In the shadows of my mind are dark corners where mysteries abound and symbols tell the tale of a life ill-spent,
O this is a strange world indeed!
All the inhabitants walk in darkness -
in Great Darkness!
They're like the blind cave fish
Lost in a world of darkness
A house that’s full of people and love
Yet I am alone and afraid.
Family and friends tell
