So you want to survive more then 2 minutes on call of duty 4 online. Well, it can be hard with all the bullets never stopping and a helicopter always up you six. Before you read on this will not work for everyone, and you always have a better chance if you know the map and all the stops.

First all I have to say is survival, try to always be in cover and if you need to move check n one is watching and sprint to your next cover; if you are in the open you can chewed by a Ak.47 or knocked down by a sniper. It's always best if you know the map as if you are playing headquarters people like to run down the open cover with out thinking to get to the HQ. This is where they can pass you without seeing you as they are sprinting so you can just shoot with a silencer would be good.

Now we need to get some kills in this paragraph I will talk about snipers do's and don'ts. First off, never go look there is a second floor building lets snipe out the window. You want to go pone and just show you're from behind a bin as this way you are best covered. Now unless you are on free-for-all try to take out snipers first to help your team. Then start looking for people charging in the open and shoot.

Now for the sub-machine guns they are great for close combat but still don't get out of cover for go for the HQ and things and wait for the other team to enter then shoot you will get far more kills if you are in like a first floor building next door.

Now for the assault rife I recommend taking cover and just picking off people in the open or taking out snipers close to you. As they are to slow when starting to take out close range like most HQ's or targets so just pick off their team.

As for shotguns its best to go to the target if there is one and camp on it or near and just guard a door you pick make sure its not the HQ room. Also some claymores would be good here to help cover your back or for when you reload you have one on the stairs.

Now as for calling in re-con, air strict and helicopter. There are two ways first to et most kills call in re-con when you get it and also air strike but when you get helicopter don't use it till you die as this should help get back to around air strict again call that in you will have a helicopter again; Or there is just calling them in when you get them and try to get a good kill steak.

So to conclude it is best to stay are a range suited for your weapon and always be in mid to full cover and you won't die as much and also take longer roots on the big maps when moving long distances as there is less chance of sniper taking you out as they will be looking in the open.
