I am trying not to procrastinate
but I'm afraid it'll just have to wait..
For you see, I am already late,
and being tardy is a thing I hate.
I wasted time writing these words,
and this poem is now quite absurd!
The craziest thing I've ever heard,
I think I've my priorities blurred.
So I must stop writing this old rot,
save you think I am what I am not!
But what that is I've quite forgot,
I suspect now I have lost the plot.
I promise this is the very last verse,
as it's transformed from bad to worse.
I must admit it's become a curse,
and my poor muse I'll need to nurse.
Okay, finally, there will be no more,
I think this is all becoming a bore.
I even forget why I started this for!
And to end it well will be a chore...
