Gears of war 2 is a awesome game, that will have you craving for more. It is better then gears of war 1 in almost every way; including a new horde mode that pits you against waves of Locust. The campaign is bigger and better with a mission riding a brumak.

Horde starts you with your normal weapons (either a lancer or a hammerburst, with a smoke grenade, a shotgun, and a pistol) and to get the bigger and better weapons that make the Locust go running can be found on spawning on some maps or taken off dead locust. There are 50 round in total to fight you way though but there is there is a nice little trick, you do rounds 1 to 10 1 being easy and 10 being hard then round 11 for most people is easy then round 10 as its like round 1 apart from now they have 50% more health, can do more damage and are more accurate so you go to round 20 and this happens again but on top so they have loads of health by round 41; and all most all bullets with hit in the open, and the locust snipers with be very good.

Now on to the campaign; its bigger its better, it lets you ride a brumak. You will also find your self in a underground river, flying; You even get to meet the locust queen. That's only a small bits of it, you'll you and your friends playing over Xbox live (or spilt screen) trying to complete the campaign on insane you really need to take cover and blind fire; or the locust get a free dinner, over and over again.

Now on to multi-player modes well there is horde to play with four other people; Then there is Execution mode where you will have to shoot the other team down then walk up to him while he is crawling and execute him using (x or b or y) to kill him. There is also meatflag where you have to fight to get to a human unarmed know him down then press A to pick him up and take him back to your base but you can only use your pistol. Aside from that there are four map packs out at the moment and think there is over 20 different maps to play horde and multi-player on.

I would rate this game 9 out of 10 as i love the game great game play and graphics. You can play it over and over, the endless fun of horde, trying to the campaign on insane or just trying to rank up in for the endless battle for the top of multi-player leader board. So gears of war 2 is a great so around game that is one the best shooting games at the moment, and if you have Xbox live there is a deleted scene coming soon that no one knows about but its on the main menu.
