Whenever I feel like I need a friend
He is with me until the very end
He carries me through the bad & the good
Whenever I need a good cry
He lets me know that I should

But, He is with me & I can fly like a sparrow

He is my Father, the light in the dark
He is always there, like an infinite spark
When I need someone to take my hand
He will be there & there I will stand
When I lay down to sleep at night
I know that He will make everything right

dreams seem so far away
He reminds me that I know the way
The path ahead is getting very narrow
