I said a prayer for you today, and lit a candle as I prayed,
And in the brightness of the flame, it was as if you'd stayed.
Within that glow, that warmth that then surrounded me I felt,
As if you touched my shoulder as I prayed, and heard me as I knelt.
I said a prayer for you today, and watched the flame, a flickering glow,
That made the feelings that I felt so real you could not fail to know,
And though you're gone, and buried here beside the chapel wall,
It's as if you never went away, or left my life at all.

Please

Come now and bless
