Is It Against Christian Principles To Judge Others?

No, it is not against Christian principles to judge others' actions, deeds or behaviors. We are actually commanded to make discernments or judgments in this life. We're not to judge others hearts or motives, but we are to judge behavior and deeds or actions when those actions are contradictory to the Word of God. We make judgments everyday in this life. Doesn't even a just Judge make judgments? The judge isn't judging the criminals heart but he is judging the action or the crime that was committed by the person. But, of course, when Christians obey God's Word and make discernments regarding actions or behaviors or deeds that are completely contradictory to God's Word then there's uproar that we are being totally intolerant of the PERSON that's committing these sins against the very Creator who gave them life. We're told that we're judging the person, but in reality we're judging the action, deed or behavior of that person. Here's the IRONIC part: We're being judged by those who claim it's wrong to judge. Isn't that true...Aren't we being judged also?

The most misused verse in the Bible by not only lost souls but also by those who claim Christ is Matthew 7:1. Judge not, that ye be not judged. They take this verse out of context to support a false belief that we're not suppose to judge. Those who quote this very verse have no idea what the following passages have to say about HOW we're suppose to judge. If they would read Matthew 7:1 in context; they would see that we're actually commanded to judge in a way that's pleasing to the LORD. We're suppose to judge with righteous judgment. We're not to judge hypocritically. We're told to get the beam out of our own eye so that we can see more clearly to help our brother get the mote out of his eye.

Homosexuality is a sin according to the Bible. Someone who claims to be gay, lesbian, bi or living an alternate lifestyle is COMMITTING a sin that is an abomination in the sight of their Creator. I judge the SIN of homosexuality. I am NOT judging that person because the person is not a homosexual; but rather, the person is committing the sin of homosexuality. The "homosexual" is making a DELIBERATE choice to have sex in an unnatural way. Any type of sex outside of marriage is a sin. Also, since marriage is between a man and a woman, the act between two people of the same sex will always be a sin even if the two go through the motions of getting a marriage license.
