The eyes of the ocean are upon me as I splash along the shore.
My bare feet, being washed in the waves.
The sand that has been traveling for miles and miles between my toes.
I pick up sea shells and sand dollars as I walk.
Watching the sun begin to set,
I look out upon the water.
I think about the mysteries the ocean holds.
A reminder of the past, a part of the present and a beacon into the future.
