Greed, lust, pride and the fading American dream

People continue to talk about the American dream as their goal. I do not believe there is such a thing as the American dream these days.

The American dream was a one time deal in the forties when the American government was willing to share its wealth with the country. It meant jobs, housing, and opportunities for advancement.

Some people will say that we have become a society of greed and lust. I will say that our faith in government have changed our faith in who we are.

Most people cannot become Historians because Historians should present the facts and not judge. People from different generations see their lives changing and they cannot explain why.

Greed, lust, pride and the fading American dream is like an explanation to why the American dream has faded. Should Americans be blamed for their confusion?

I say not because the government has separated itself from the real people. The American dream now is this invisible shield of separation. We see but cannot touch. Our goal is to break out of this cycle of instability.

America has been invaded by ideas that go against what this country values are. We are now fighting for survival. Our critics are laughing and sneering with greed and lust for the remains of the old American dream.

They too will come against the harsh reality of life and realize that change is everywhere. Greed, lust, pride and the fading American dream is no longer a claim to fame.

It is only normal for people to question their existence and their rights as citizens. It is only normal for people to question whether they should adjust to the changes or fight religiously for what is theirs.

The American Indians fought for centuries for their America. America became a nightmare in their eyes. They went through the bloody changes and then some. The government forced them off their land to make room for the white settlers.

Talk to the Native Americans about greed, lust, pride and the fading American dream. They have lived it and are still living with it. These are the physical and emotional ashes of history.

Some of you probably remember how we took pride in goods made in America. Our pride has been exchanged for business dealings elsewhere. We are now a global community. That means everyone must think alike and see others as ourselves. Ain't that peachy? The government will have a bunch of human robots walking and talking the same crap!

There is no such thing as the American dream. The dream has been dead and buried for years. Greed, lust, and no pride has taken its place.
