The answer is no to me. I feel that labels are horrid and the only way that we should be labeled in anyway is if we had some sort of contagious disease and could easily pass it to someone else. The debate here is not really even a debate to me because I am against any type of label.
Now on the subject of bi and homosexuality, there can be a fine line Michy. I have often been misunderstood even by people close to me because I am so loving towards... well everyone! I have such a deep love that the Lord has given me and often may come across as being bi. Heck my ex called me bi before. I am goofy and often joke around with my girlfriends. That doesn't mean I would ever cross the line and sleep with or even make out with them.
I am definitely heterosexual, but that doesn't mean that I want to sleep with every man that I love. There is such a deep love and compassion that we as humans SHOULD have for one another. Often times people misunderstand that we CAN love one another that much and not have any sexual desires.
I do and others can't understand that.
If there is any physical attraction there, the man that I feel that for would definitely know. That doesn't mean that because I love other men, I want to cross that line with them. I believe that we can love someone so deep that it may appear intimate. I believe that our Lord Jesus had that type of love. It is called agape.
It hurts for others around you that you love very much to have that misunderstanding towards this type of love. It's a love that only the Lord can show us, because He is love. I can't explain it in any other way, really. All I know is that to love someone so deep is beautiful. Taking that love and making it into something sexual is a huge step and should only be shared with that of the opposite sex, because that is the way we were created. To be the opposite of that is against nature and God.
I don't judge at all, I am merely stating what the Word says. It is He who judges and His Word.
I don't like to be labeled at all. There are others in "my faith" who have hurt, judged and thought of them self as higher then others and that is why it hurts to be labeled, because I am not like that and I teach my children to not be like that as well. We are our own individual person, with our unique ideals and ways of life. We are diverse regardless of sexuality, skin color or heritage.
We are all our own person and there is no one that has the right to brand us in any way.
