Michael Jackson is known as the King of Pop, not a pedophile. I don't know if he's guilty for molesting children, but I do believe he's a good guy. I think he's weird for doing certain things that the tabloids caught like hanging his child over a balcony and bleaching his skin white. Something made him want to be white. He went on the path to destruction. Even though he went down this route, doesn't make him a bad person. People assume since he bleached his skin, he's more likely to do other weird things like molest his children because he had so many. Sometimes the media will create stories just to get attention. Sometimes they actually get something on camera that peaks their interest. Michael Jackson shielded his kids from the world to protect them from the media. Parent's shouldn't do this to their kids because they lack the knowledge of the world. I understand that parents are only trying to do what's in their best interest, but it's not the right thing to do. Children should be aware of what the world is like. What will happen once the shield is down? They will not know what to do or how to react to anything. They are very naive and vulnerable in this situation.

He was accused of sexual child abuse n 1993, but because of lack of evidence, charges were dropped. In 2005, he was tried and acquitted of all charges of sexual child abuse. Just reading this, I am more likely to think he didn't do it. Yes, he's still kind of weird, but he was a great singer and I like his music. He had an interview with Oprah Winfrey in 1993, talking about his childhood and how it wasn't the greatest because of his own child abuse.

A 13 year old named Jordan Chandlier accused Michael of child abuse. He told his father that Micheal touched his penis. Jordan also told his therapist and police that he and Michael engaged in kissing, masturbation, and oral sex. This is a 13 year old who is accusing a man of doing this. Michael's older sister LaToya, also accused of him being a pedophile when the investigation began. Neverland Ranch was searched. Most members of his family and other friends, however, denied he was a pedophile. He permitted a strip search to see if Jordan was right on describing what Michael's genitals looked like. There were similarities, but not a match. To me, this means Jordan is just making things up. I'm starting to feel bad for Michael.

He started taking prescription medication to help him cope with the allegations of child abuse. Michael decided to pay the Chandlier family 22 million to leave him alone, so Jordan did. He stopped cooperating with the police and charges were dropped. When the child accusations became public, he went to his ex wife Lisa Presley for support. They had a close relationship, spoke every day.

The singer was seen holding hands with Gavin Arvizo who accused him of sexual abuse. Michael was charged with 7 cases of child abuse. All charges involved this boy Gavin. Michael denied it. The sleepovers he had were not sexual. To me, this is also a little weird. The only sleepovers I know of, are the ones with teenage girls watching movies with popcorn on a Friday or Saturday night. Elizabeth Taylor was there when the boy slept over. They were just watching TV in bed.

During the investigation, a doctor, Stan Katz, evaluated the singer and came to the conclusion Michael didn't fit the profile of a pedophile. May 2005, all charges were dropped. Now I am convinced he wasn't a pedophile. Are you?
