From this moment forward I shall change my ways

And no longer be subject to this emotional craze

I will break my bad habits and relinquish my past

Though I've said it before, this time is my last

I've been such a bully to those in my life

Seems like I've offered nothing but strife

Because my insecurities had stopped my progression

And fear of the future left me in recession

Now I must give it all up and make amends

Rekindle the trust once held by my friends

I have reached this conclusion not just for myself

But for those who lost faith and placed me on a shelf

It is up there I've been with my demons and anguish

Allowing myself to wither and languish

I beg forgiveness from those whom I've hurt

For treating them as if they were nothing but dirt

Now that I've come clean I feel empowered

More like a man and less like a coward

The only thing left for me to do

Is win back the love once held so dearly by you...
