Women should have the right to decide what happens to their bodies. After all, it is THEIR body. If you want to have an abortion, that's fine, and if you don't, that's okay too. Nobody else has the right to tell another person what to do with them self. People often get people who are for abortion and pro-choice mixed up. Pro-choice is just supporting the fact that woman should have a choice to have an abortion or not.

The United States Supreme Court granted woman the right to abortion during the first six months of pregnancy since 1973. Suddenly, abortion is not crime anymore, it became a right.

Besides, there are many reasonable situations why a woman might choose to have an abortion after getting pregnant.

One reason is poverty. What if the woman does not have enough money to even feed a child? That would just end in a dreadful way. The child would have to be taken away or maybe even die.

Another reason is if the woman is in bad health. She might not even be suitable to have a baby.

The woman could also choose abortion because she already has too many kids. If she has a lot of kids already, she won't be able to handle a new-born baby.

And maybe the woman just can't have a baby at that time. She could be in her teens or still be in school.

A woman could simple not want to put her body through child birth. It is a very painful thing.

One of the best reasons for a woman to pick to have an abortion is because of rape or incest. She will be reminded constantly until the baby is born about how she got pregnant in the first place. And then even be reminded after if she decides to keep the baby.

Now of course there are reasons not to have an abortion as well.

Some people think abortion is murder, and if you believe that, that is fine. If you don't want to get an abortion, and you don't want to keep the kid, just give it away to another family, maybe a family that can't have a baby. Or put it up for adoption. You can even choose not to see the baby after it's born.

Some people decide by religion, and if you go by the bible, Rome 13:1 says, "Everyone must submit himself to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established." So woman should have the abortion right according the what you are allowed to do in your country.

All in all, woman should have the right to CHOOSE. And they do, according to the U.S. Supreme Court.
