You hid it well, I never knew
All the pain he gave to you
I never saw a single bruise
Or the violence he'd use
You never told me how much hate
He had until it was too late
I don't know why you did deny
All the times he made you cry
Or the hurt he'd put you through
I'm sorry that I never knew
