I never knew someone so small
could take over my entire mind.
When I am in her presence,
common sense is left behind.
Her smile lights up the room,
and every corner of my heart.
Huge round eyes just emphasize,
that she is very smart.
Enchanted and mesmerized
by the very sight of her,
my eyes are glued to every move,
and each simple little murmur.
Her wisps of hair, dimpled grins,
and baby powder scent,
intoxicate my senses
to a ridiculus extent
To garner her attention,
I gladly play the fool.
If she responds, glancing my way,
I quickly lose my cool.
Head over heels, out of my mind,
madly in love so true,
that a tiny baby could wield such power,
Is something I never knew.

Poetry: I never knew
If I had known it was the last time,
I would wait my turn among strangers,
My patience would have stretched to infinity.
Used To Think, I knew the world...
I used to think I knew exactly,
What the world was all about,
But every day that passes
by Louise Nilon
You hid it well, I never knew
All the pain he gave to you
I never saw a single bruise
Or the violence he'd use
by Kelly Stoll
I never knew silence could be deafening and defining
That love harbors no cost.
I never knew the steel ringing shredding of
I never knew what it would feel like
To collect six- or seven-figure pay
To reach the moon, step and leap
Weightless pioneer
