Poetry: Who Am I?
I am the darkness that creeps up swallowing every evening,
I am the light that shines through the darkness that brings
your everyday life new meaning; and I am the in between
that's consistently deceiving.
I am a smile turned upside down to form a frown, I am a
stranger in an unfamiliar town, and I stand out in the crowd
because my face resembles a clown.
" Who am I?", they may ask. I will say to those that ask," I am
the one that has stopped giving a damn, due to this society
constantly depleting my character like it's spam!"
